$ 47.68
An original race programme from the 1956 International meeting held at the Aintree race circuit. Part of this meeting was the Aintree 200 race, a non-championship Formula One motor race which attracted approximately 20 entries from predominantly British teams and privateers, with a few international participants adhering to the 2.5-litre Formula One regulations of the era . Stirling Moss took victory in a Maserati 250F after 2 hours, 23 minutes marking a dominant performance ahead of Tony Brooks who finished one lap behind in a BRM P25 and Jack Brabham in third place driving a Maserati 250F who was three laps behind. The programme itself is in very good condition for the year with the front cover becoming detached and some light staining at the top of the pages. Inside the programme it has been signed in pencil by both Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham. Reference: VIN-AIN200SMJB-01
