‘Winning’ movie poster starring Paul Newman – US issue

An original vintage US cinema poster for the 1969 film Winning. This movie went under three titles depending on where it was being shown, in France it was called Virages, in the rest of Europe ‘Indianapolis’ and in the UK and US it was known as ‘Winning’. Starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and Robert Wagner the film tells a story of Frank Capua who is a rising star on the race circuit and dreams of winning the big one–the Indianapolis 500. Following this movie, Paul Newman began his own car racing career, coming 2nd place in the 1979 24-hour Le Mans. Excellent condition, folded as issued with some tape marks to corners, size 27″ x 41″.
